To improve their tool setting capability BMW Swindon Pressings have added a further KELCH presetter. Measuring tool geometry is important to support their new JOBS Ever 7, 5 axis gantry machining centre. The latest Kenova Set line V956 offers CNC axis movement for fully automatic tool measuring.
To improve their tool setting capability BMW Swindon Pressings have added a further KELCH presetter. Measuring tool geometry is important to support their new JOBS Ever 7, 5 axis gantry machining centre. The latest Kenova Set line V956 offers CNC axis movement for fully automatic tool measuring.
Equipped with the latest high-resolution CCD camera technology and the KELCH EASY Webset measuring software. Due to the complex tools the TeachIn programming module for fast development of bespoke measuring programs was included. This machine is constructed in a thermally stable and vibration-damped mineral cast composite to maintain accuracy and repeatability in the machine shop environment. This was important as the presetting area is in close proximity to the huge pressing machine.
